The Three Kingdoms Chess is a fun and rare mini board game variant from the popular Chinese chess which allows 3 people to play together.
The game represents a battle between three forces of armies and heroes, with the object of capturing all enemy's pieces.
While it shares many similar tactics with the more well-known international chess, it contains distinctive features such as the cannon which must jump to capture an opponent’s piece.
It is a mini board game for a casual play deriving from the popular Chinese chess (XianQi 象棋 シャンチー) in China and other eastern Asian regions, and is in the same family as western (or international) chess, co tuong, chaturanga, Japanese shogi (将棋), Indian chess and janggi. Similar puzzle solving elements from games such as Banqi, half chess or Blind Chess.
